Naked Man in Bed with his Wife who just Gave Birth

A Naked man in bed with his wife who just gave birth

A naked man in bed with his wife who just gave birth. Yeah, probably too soon.

Too soon? Boy when Oscar says he’s going to get every penny out of the money he’s paying for the hospital stay, he isn’t joking around. If you think this is bad, you should see the breast-feeding picture we took a few minutes after this. Poor little kid never stood a chance.

Looking for some sample material to use? Want some ideas to get you started before you give us your best shot? Check out the starter material we’ve provided. Our starter material is provided by hard-working drunken monkeys. We use a billion monkeys, typing away at a billion keyboards. Once each day a large robot collects these phrases and passes them to a committee of midget nuns that filter out only the best. Then we throw those away and use something else. (click to view)

Sister Licking my Ear

A childhood portrait with sister and borther, both of a very young age, showing sister licking my ear makes me smile!

Sister licking my ear feels kind of good! But something's very wrong with that.

It might feel good now, but later on you’re going to need therapy. Lots of it. Sadly, junior lost his ear to Tammy just three months later during the great foot shortage of 88. If you parents want any more reasons not to let your kids watch inappropriate movies, look no further.

If you’re new to Caption of the Day, here’s the deal: this site is all about funny, interesting, and emotionally-charged images. Material you can use in your own presentations, blogs, and status updates. People submit material by email (or we go and find it.) Once accepted, the image is cleaned up, attributed (if easily possible) and tagged for retrieval later. All users are invited to add their own captions and text to help others when the image is reused. We’ve tried to provide some sample material in case you can’t think of anything. (click to view)

Aunt Fred

A family picture of an infant and a larger child, sitting next to a man wearing women's clothing and with a mustache, looking like somebody you'd call Aunt Fred.

We all just called Aunt Fred "bunny".

We all remembered Aunt Fred as a nice enough lady, when he wasn’t drinking. But once he’d start boozing, he’d make us all dress up and go down to Sears for pictures. Most of us are still in therapy. Little Susie still has nightmares about being chased through the house by Aunt Bunny, always wanting a hug. Nooooooo! Run Susie, run!

Not These Jerks Again

A family picture with the baby making a very strange cross-eyed face at his mother, as if to say "not these jerks again!"

Not these jerks again! I can't seem to get rid of 'em.

When your baby doesn’t approve of you, it’s probably not something you want to be sharing with the world. Conversely, if your baby loves you and just makes a face that looks like this from time-to-time, not exactly what you want to put on next year’s Christmas cards.

In case you’re new here, what we do is take pictures that people somehow find worthy of note, something they might use in a blog, presentation, tweet, or status update one day, and save them for future use. The whole thing started with a picture collection that grew out of hand. You’re welcome to submit new material by email, and you’re also welcome to re-use the material. In fact, please do! The only thing we ask is that you don’t copy the entire article and place it somewhere. You can even provide your own captions. We’ve provided some samples to get you going. (click to view)

Let me out

Picture of a boy in foreground, large woman in background wearing pink zip up jacket with two baby legs sticking out and strange bumps strongly implying there's some baby in there yelling help, let me out!

Help -- let me out!

It’s warm and dark in here — please let me out! I promise to be good! (When she said there was a skinny person inside of her struggling to get out, I had no idea that I was supposed to take her seriously.) Now I know how the idea of Quatro originated.

The Other Children

A picture of a baby with spaghetti stains on his face (which look something like blood) and the caption oh yes, the other children, they tasted wonderful

Yes, yes. The other children. They tasted wonderful!

I don’t know about you, but after wondering what happened to the other children, to me this is one baby I do not want to be messing with. It could be spaghetti stains, sure. Or it might be something else entirely…

This site is all about creating and saving one-liners and tagging images for later retrieval. If you’d like some ideas to get you started, they’re below. (click to view)
